Joining Twitter is one of those things on my to-do list, though a bit lower than it probably should be (seeing as how I’ve not done it in the year+ it’s been on my list). My challenge would be in having something meaningful to say in 140 characters, which is hard enough for me to do in a blog post. Plus, it’s one of those things that takes that much more time, which is my biggest constraint these days.
Just because I’m still putting it off, doesn’t mean that my readers are, so here are a couple links to some good Twitter advice…
– United States Poet Laureate, Robert Pinsky, shares how to compose the Perfect Tweet.
– Dan Rockwell, AKA the Leadership Freak, shares how to get the Most from Twitter.
– How to Avoid Anthony Weiner’s Twitter mistakes.
So do you tweet? If so, are these good advice?

I just started Tweeting about a week ago. Like you, I kept putting it off, but am enjoying it so far. Mostly, I’m just watching and reading others and diving in now and then. I never see myself being someone who Tweets constantly throughout the day though – I just don’t have that much time for it. But I am enjoying it, and these articles do seem like good advice! I still have so much to learn about categories, communities etc. on Twitter.
Thanks for your comment! Please let me know your experiences and the value you get from it over time.
