Story Ideas

Every so often a news story catches my eye, not only for the obvious reasons but for the story potential as well.  Here are a few that have recently fallen into that category.  I’m not planning on writing any stories with these topics, but I’d love to read one!  Any takers?

Yellowstone Park is actually the crater of a “super volcano”. By “super” I really mean super.  As in, when it blows, it will be a Earth-changing event on the level that wiped out the dinosaurs. And guess what? There’s been some recent activity indicating this super volcano is warming up.  Old Faithful isn’t quite what is seems…

Scientists believe there may have been a nuclear blast on Mars. Yep, that’s right. And it’s the very thing that made the planet so orange in color. There are two radiation hot spots which streak outward in a blast pattern.  And, get this, it was a natural phenomena.  Yeah, right…

And last… this car.  Posted without comment…
